One man operation since 2015. Hand built swimbaits made in southern Michigan

My name is Hunter Stroud, owner and founder of Strouds Custom Glides & Baits (SCGB). At 27 years old, I’ve spent my entire life in the outdoors—whether it’s chasing waterfowl, calling in spring gobblers, or spending long days on the water fishing. The outdoors isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a lifestyle. I officially started SCGB in August of 2025, but the passion behind it was built long before that. Years of fishing and hands-on experience on the water pushed me to start creating custom painted baits

At Backdraft Baits I am a retired firefighter. I specialize in hand-crafted, custom-painted fishing lures designed to enhance performance and visibility in the water. By combining durable materials with detailed finishes, our lures offer anglers a unique, high-quality custom alternative to mass-produced baits.

At Rose River Lure Company, we build gear for anglers who demand performance and value quality over corporate mass production. Based in Madison County, Virginia, my brother and I hand-craft every lure, drawing on a lifetime of experience fishing for trout and bass. We make baits that actually work and get results on the water. When you buy from us, you’re supporting a local, brother-owned business dedicated to the craft of fishing. Stop feeding the big corporations and put a lure on your line that was built by someone who truly understands the sport.

Out of Central Massachusetts. Hand made, high quality soft plastic fishing lures with proven results. CMC Baits delivers on the water with flexible but also durable baits. These baits don’t rip apart easily. Crafted with high grade materials. Whether your a tournament angler or a weekend angler my baits are made to help you catch more and fish with confidence. But unfortunately no customer orders yet. But very soon.

Right baits, right hands at the right time. Every pattern and blank is regularly used by us tried and true. We are big on giving out baits to youngsters and people who can’t afford equipment to see everyone catch fish. Focus heavy on what works at that moment but will customize any pattern for a customer. Just about Everything from mini crank baits to 8in glides we start prepping for the season but can still throw together whatever whenever.

I build custom crank baits, glide baits, jerk baits, swim baits, jigs , soft plastics and much more. I have been painting for several years and only been selling for almost a year. My work has obviously been very well to see many painter copy my work. I design stuff that nobody else has on almost every bait. Quality is my passion.
